Library as a Learning Centre

The institution has a library with 3585 volumes for UG and 271 volumes for PG, 4 number of periodicals, e-journals from DelNET, e-shodhsindhu & British council library membership and 400 e-books including 20 numbers from Rare Book Society of India (RBSI). The library has 8 national journals, 7 international journals, 5 general magazines, 100 e–journal subscriptions and 500 student theses, dissertation and internship portfolio. Library is automated using Integrated Library Management System (ILMS) called KOHA 20.05 version which is used for master Setup, membership, acquisition, cataloguing, circulation, serial control, OPAC, to generate report and import/export.

Digital Library

DELNET offers catalogue and database such as theses and dissertation, list of journals, articles, CD-ROMS, e-journals, audio & video recordings, cambridge dictionary & MEDLINE and other databases of NLM. It also provides document delivery services, open-source software KOHA(LMS), training programmes, interlibrary loans, library software support. Learning resources of library is also supported with membership in e-shodhsindhu and British council library, Chennai. OPAC is used to access e-resources and also for attending SWAYAM and NPTEL courses. Entry/exit of students & staffs is monitored with KOHA software and biometric facility & Book transactions is managed with E-Grantalaya software.
