Institutional development
1.
Establishment of Heritage cell Current Status: Established Heritage Cell in April 2022 as an initiative to spread knowledge, awareness and understand the importance of heritage.

Action Plan: Publication of monographs and documentation of intangible heritage.
2.
Establishment of Research and Publication Cell Research Cell established on 10.01.2022 and reconstituted as Research and Publication cell on 13.02.2023 to facilitate an ethos of research and encourage publication.
3.
Incubation and Innovation cell Current Status: Signed MoUs with industry and alumni entrepreneurs.

Action Plan: To develop an ecosystem for design thinking and experimentation.
Student / faculty support initiatives
1.
Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) for POSH. Current Status: ICC was constituted in February 2023 to prevent Sexual Harassment of Women at workplace as per (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal Act, 2013)

Action Plan: Redressal of complaints by the respective committee.
2.
National Service Scheme (NSS) Current Status: As a part of Personality and Character Development, NSS functionary started in Academic Year 2022-23, conducted several events for students and for the adopted village Vembedu.

Action Plan: To elevate the status of the NSS unit to access funding through Anna University.
3.
Participation in National and International Architectural Design Competitions. Current Status: Students participate every year in varied competitions held by COA, IIA, INTACH, INSDAG, Ethos etc. and have won awards and mentions.

Action Plan: To encourage students to also participate in International competitions and events.
4.
To organize the FDP, symposium, workshops, lectures-talks and webinars to kindle the minds of faculty and students. Conducted FDP on Ideating architectural design education with Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) Chennai Chapter in June 2019.

Conducted state level Architectural Symposium in September 2019.

Conducted Workshops like
A. Mud construction workshop from 22.01.2020 – 25.01.2020 by Thannal Nature Homes, Tiruvannamalai.
B. Brick workshop on 21.12.21 by Ar.Ramkumar, Alumni MSEC, Keezhakarai
C. Oxide flooring workshop on 16.02.22 by Ar.Tripura Sundari of Studio Conclave.
D. Mud workshop on 11.03.22 by Ar.Akshaya and Ar. Audrey of NGO-Anbu Sei.

Collaborative studios: Rural design collaborative studio: IV sem students "Collaborate with Hunnarshala and Design for/with Communities," mentored by Ar. Sandeep Virmani, Director-Hunnarshala, and Ar. Aditya Singh, Project Architect-Hunnarshala.

Urban design collaborative studio: VIII sem (76 students of MSAJAA and 40 students of SPA) Collaboration with Architecture Department, School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi mentored by Ar. Anand Dhote, Ar. Rashideen Saifi, Ar. Ramneet Kaur, Ar. Nishant Guatam.

Conducted lectures, talks and online webinars as a part of student support progression.

Action Plan: To collaborate with industry to stay abreast with new technological developments and integrate them in the teaching-learning process.

Collaboration planned with Saint Gobain for a glass academy FDP on sustainable architecture in September, 2023.

Collaboration planned for Bamboo workshop with Unravelling Architecture in August, 2023.
Alumni Contributions
1.
MSAJAA Alumni Association Current Status: Conducted webinar talks, presentation of works and expertise.

Action Plan: Endowments and scholarships to be established by alumni.
E-Governance
1.
Implementation of e-governance Current Status: ERP portal formed for administrative purposes (Mastersoft) in 2022.

Action Plan: To include academic monitoring.
IQAC Measures
1.
Academic and Administrative Audit (AAA) Current Status: Academic Audits conducted for the academic year 2021-22 and 2022-23. Internal Library Audit conducted for the academic year 2021- 22 and external audit conducted in 2023-24.

Green and energy audit and Audit of technical facilities done in the year 2023.

Action Plan: To conduct academic and library audits regularly and to initiate administrative audits.
2.
Teaching Learning Process and Evaluation Current Status: i. Student centric methodologies - Experiential, Participative and Problem-solving.
ii. Student and faculty guidance by emeritus professors and field experts.
iii. CO PO mapping and attainment.

Action Plan: To implement NEP in totality.

Mentorship and feedback. i. Counseling for students by faculty mentors and professional counselors.
